Noticing a pattern? You’re not wrong. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this dynamic in the countdown—and that’s exactly the point. Certain themes work, and they work consistently. #17 builds on the same “dentist vs. assistant” energy we saw earlier in the countdown, but with a different tone, team, and twist. These repeatable formats are content gold: easily recreated, instantly relatable, and highly shareable. If it worked once, why not refine it and try it again?
How did they do it?
This short skit captures a moment every dental team knows: the dentist is energized, optimistic, and full of “we got this” energy—while the assistant stands still, unamused, and very aware of the actual workload. The captions do all the storytelling:
Dentist: “Don’t worry, we’ll get it done somehow.”
Assistant: “I am the somehow.”
It’s a quick scene, powered by body language and a perfectly timed laugh-track style applause. And it works because it’s real.
Why it worked
Simple text bubbles clarify the story instantly
Relatable team energy makes it memorable
Background applause adds irony and contrast
No voiceover or editing complexity—just one funny, true moment
How you can do it too
Even if you’ve never created a Reel before, this is one of the easiest styles to replicate:
Choose a familiar team dynamic or daily frustration
Record with your phone in vertical format—15 seconds max
Add basic text bubbles using Instagram or Facebook’s built-in tools
Use light, recognizable background audio (search for applause or sitcom sounds)
Post with a caption like: “Every office has this moment…”
How this grows your practice
Relatable content like this makes your team approachable. It gives future patients a peek into your culture—and that builds trust before they ever walk in the door. Humor lowers defenses. Consistency builds connection. When your content feels familiar, your practice feels like home.
Stay tuned—our countdown continues!
We’ll be back in the next issue with another viral dental video that’s making waves and showing real results. See you then.
